Then, if you want to burn the iso/P2i disc image into a disc, you will need to run burn a disc image.
However, it took about 9 1/2 hours.Ĭreating a disc image via the program Power2Go doesn't allow you to burn a full disk directly into another empty disc, however, it requires a two-step process, the first step is to read image from target disc then and save it as an iso/P2i disc image file into a local hard drive, (default into 'Documents').
However, when saving it as ISO, no errors detected and the ISO created successfully. Thus, I've been facing is an error saving the disc image as 'P2i'. However, I've been trying to create a disc image. If you had followed me from the beginning, you could have figured that I didn't yet burn the iso/P2i into a disc yet. Note: I don't want to burn an already-ISO/P2i into a disc(burn disc image with Power2Go), however, I want to create an (ISO or P2i) disc image file to be burnt into a disc later.(i.e one-to- one copy, clone CD into blank CD) How about the other discs? Also need hours to read it? Hence it caused the drive took super long time to read it.
Quote: I guess your source disc is scratched. Would the Power2Go only burn 'ISO' file and create 'ISO' file, and wouldn't Power2Go burn 'P2i' and create P2i'? I think the same would be happening when trying burning disc image file (iso or P2i) with the Power2Go
Second: 'burn disc image file which is as 'ISO' or 'P2i', I have prompted to open an image file as (P2i or iso) If there were a way to directly clone CD into another blank CD(one-to-one copy), would have been much better. I really noticed that this would be a too long way as long as there are two process needed: First creating disc image file as 'ISO', the second is burn the ISO into another blank CD. Thus, I should first create a disc image file, then burn disc image file into another blank disc. NOTE, as said before, I want to clone CD into another blank CD. NOTE: I have tried creating a disc image by inserting a disc burnt perviousely into the optical drive, then I proceeded with Power2Go by choosing creating a disc image, then saving image as ISO file.( I want to do one-to-one copy(CD to CD). it is a long time than normal as you see here in this screen shot above. However, the process took far too much time to be compete, it took about 9 and half hours. However, when I have created a disc image and saved disc image as ISO file, I didn't face any errors the image file was created as iso file.įree physical memory : 4247MB (4349796KB)ġ7:43:10, File(cl_DiscCop圜D.cpp), Line(91)Ġ3:16:58, File(cl_DiscCop圜D.cpp), Line(1265) Track 1: session = 1, 106144 sectors, sector size = 2048, pregap = 150, postgap = 0
OS Version : Windows 7 Home PremiumService Pack 1Ĭ:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\Power2Go\Power2Go.exe : Version 6. When I have tried creating a disk image via this Cyberlink Power2Go, I found an error when I tried saving the output file as P2i. However, as you see I can choose 'save as' an 'iso' file. NOTE: the default saving for disc image file for this program I am using is '.P2i'. I have a program called 'Cyber link DVD suite', when I chose the utility 'create a disc image' as 'ISO' or 'P2i', I have prompted to save an image file as (P2i or iso)
